The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia Inc

We work to grow philanthropy to help meet the most critical needs of our region.

Over the last several years, grants and scholarships totaling millions of dollars were made from our funds to support child and youth development, education, health, arts, homelessness, community improvement and other causes in Northern Virginia. Hundreds of nonprofit organizations in our region benefited from these grants and were strengthened through our grants.

The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia makes a difference in the lives of people in our region. We will continue our philanthropic leadership role, helping to address needs, serve donors, and problem solve for nonprofits--all essential elements for a healthy and vital community.
