A place where people come hungry and leave hopeful

Your gift is makes a difference.

Your generosity will provide 126,000+ low-income seniors, families with children, and adults across Minneapolis with healthy and culturally relevant food, emergency financial and material assistance, and referrals to additional resources and services.

But, most importantly, your gift will create a sense of hope for our neighbors who are experiencing a crisis or transition.

Your gift will come alongside a neighbor via:

*Meals on Wheels - helping seniors age well in place. MOW delivers a prepared meal, a friendly visit from a volunteer, and resources that equip seniors to continue living in their own home.

*CES Food Shelf is open Monday-Thursday and provides healthy and culturally appropriate food to visitors.

*Home Delivery provides free monthly grocery deliveries to homebound and isolated seniors and adults with underlying health conditions.

*Ani-Meals - feeding pets, feeding hearts. Our Meals on Wheels (MOW) seniors love their pets. However, meeting their own food needs is already a challenge. Adding a pet’s needs on top of that can create a very real issue. MOW volunteers realized that some clients were giving up a share of their delivered food to feed their companions. This meant seniors going hungry, as well as animals not receiving their proper nutrition.

But CES is much more than the food we distribute; it is a community where resources are shared, struggles are heard, and neighbors help neighbors with dignity and respect.  CES also provides assistance and referral to a broad range of social services, all by making one-on-one connections with the people we are privileged to serve.

Your gift is powerful...

*For a single mom who has empty cabinets and doesn’t know what she’ll feed her kids for dinner, you will ease her worry.

*For an isolated senior, you will deliver vital meals and socialization to an otherwise lonesome day and equip them to continue living independently.

*For a family, you will wipe away the stress of how they can pay their utility bills, rent, and buy groceries.

Thank you for choosing to come alongside our neighbors across Minneapolis and equip them to move from hunger to hope!

Thank you for your generosity!
