THIS GIVE TO THE MAX DAY WE WISH TO FUND OUR COMMITMENT TO EVERY MEAL WEEKEND FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM AND CHRISTMAS CENTRAL TOY SHOP!

We are committed to support our local elementary school with weekend meal bags through Every Meal. Your support will ensure that we can continue upholding students and families in practical and essential needs.

We are also committed to reopening our "Christmas Central" gift shop after 2 years of being closed. We will serve community families and folks coming out of incarceration who wish to bless their children with Christmas joy!

OUR PROGRAMS:

About “Every Meal” Support:
Through our partnership with Every Meal and Hamline Elementary School, we help provide weekend and summer meals to families experiencing food insecurity and hunger. The need for food support is greater than ever. We give financial resources and provide weekly volunteers for food distribution.

About Christmas Central: Each December we set up a Christmas "shop" where families from our community can come and purchase donated gifts at a nominal fee. This experience allows parents to make their own selections for gifts they then give their own children. We are also able to offer this program to individuals in work release from prison. They are more than excited to reconnect with their families in this way.

About Camp Scholarships: Summertime can be lonely and largely unsupervised for urban kids. We help send kids to a week of summer camp at beautiful Trout Lake Camps. They come back full of wonderful memories and excited to return each year.

About Youth Trips: Beyond academic help in the early years, teens need social and enriching experiences that build their sense of independence, empowerment, and positive peer relationships. There is no better way to accomplish this than by exiting the neighborhood for some good old fashioned fun and adventure! Teens from the city are given a chance to leave their familiar environment and have an adventure of a lifetime. They find new confidence, shared experiences, team building, and friendship all in one exciting weekend away!

Your gifts to CCSI make these wonderful programs and more possible! Thank you for choosing to make a difference in the life of a young person!
