We are committed to support our local elementary school with weekend meal bags through Every Meal. Your support will ensure that we can continue upholding students and families in the Midway community with practical and essential needs. This year the number of families registered has doubled - from 24 to 47. The cost per child is $347 for the entire school year. Help us make sure no child goes without this vital resource!

We will again be hosting our "Christmas Central" gift shop on Dec. 14. We joyfully provide community families and folks coming out of incarceration with a dignified, high-quality gift shopping experience allowing them to give brand new toys they choose to their children. Last year we served 67 children. Each child receives approximately $50 worth of toys and each family receives a $25 gift card. You can make Christmas bright for a family facing extra challenges this holiday season!

New this year: Safe Spaces Adult Shelter will be housed in our building beginning Nov. 11. Every night 25 women will find safe, warm, overnight shelter in our 1913 building. Plans are to expand to include up to 45 men. This program, run by Model Cities and Ramsey County Housing Stability is funded by outside grants and program funds. We hope to provide snacks, clothing, bedding, and personal care items for those who come to stay with us.
