In the last couple of years, our children have not been in-person in the theater. We know that socialization is a major factor in adolescent development. But did you know that students who take four years of arts classes in high school score an average of 92 points higher on their SATs? Theater strengthens critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and leadership skills. Theater helps improve school attendance and reduce high school drop-out rates. Through theater, children and communities are immersed in other cultures and aspects of life. Theater teaches empathy and cultural relativity.
Theater plays an important role in the lives of our children. Please help us keep this program alive for not just them, but for our entire community. When the children participate in theater, the community at large benefits from all that they learn. We thank you in advance for your support.
