The Celtic Junction Arts Center
A 21st Century Arts and Cultural Center that preserves the past and forges the future of Celtic traditions

Celtic Junction is a vibrant Twin Cities-based arts and cultural organization committed to enriching the experiences and knowledge of our online and local audiences while preserving, promoting, and celebrating the rich Celtic cultural legacy for the benefit of all ages and future generations.

Your generous donation plays a vital role in supporting Celtic Junction Arts Center's ongoing programs, benefiting not only the Midway neighborhood but also the Twin Cities, Minnesota, and the broader region. Our commitment to teaching and promoting Celtic arts and traditions relies on your support.

With a $100 donation, you can provide admission for four youth 18 years and younger to enjoy a traditional music concert. A $250 contribution pays for annual subscriptions to online research sources for our library. For $500, you can support research for new classes, and a $1000 donation helps cover expenses for hosting a major artist's visit. No matter the amount, your contribution helps us preserve the past while forging a brighter future for the Celtic Junction Arts Center.

A Beacon of Arts & Culture

Recognizing the depth and creative core of the Irish legacy, Celtic Junction promotes and presents Irish and Irish-American artistic and cultural initiatives on both sides of the Atlantic. Along with the Celtic Junction’s tenants O'Shea School of Irish Dance, the Center for Irish Music, and the Irish Fair of Minnesota, Celtic Junction honors Ireland’s rich cultural traditions and is firmly committed to their 21st-century manifestation. “Weaving the traditions of Dance, Music, Art, and Language” means that children and families learn, practice, and celebrate the Celtic arts in all their forms in the company of local, national, and international artists.  In our multi-generational community, we encourage our youth to help shape the future of Celtic Junction's programs, initiatives, and long-term vision through participation in a Youth Advisory Committee ensuring CJAC's continued relevance and sustainability.

A Valuable Educational Resource

The Celtic Junction serves as a cultural bridge to the rich history of the Irish experience, locally, regionally, and internationally. We offer a diverse range of online classes, including Irish language, literature, history, and creative arts, some of which are free. Our patrons benefit from being part of a community that values learning at all ages. Our academic offerings are further enriched by the Dr. Eoin McKiernan library, which houses over 5,500 volumes and a traditional music archive. This remarkable collection has sparked a reimagining of Celtic Junction's future, providing a significant repository of Irish literary work and scholarship accessible to the public. Under the guidance of our dedicated librarian, the library undergoes continuous curation and expansion.

A Thriving Performance Venue

For nearly fifteen years, Celtic Junction has been a vibrant platform for local, national, and international Celtic artists. Our stages and studios have hosted a diverse array of performers, including renowned names like Sharon Shannon, Aoife Scott, Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill, Manchán Magan, Altan, Nordic Fiddlers Bloc, and many more. These artists have brought their talents to our venue, offering concerts, workshops, and educational opportunities, enriching our community's cultural experiences. With the addition of an outdoor stage, Celtic Junction Arts Center has solidified its position as a year-round performance destination for touring musicians and an invaluable resource for our local community. Celtic Junction concerts and events remain free to youth 18 years old and under.
