Community Emergency Assistance Program (CEAP)

CEAP (Community Emergency Assistance Programs) was founded in 1972 as a food shelf responding to the growing need for human services in Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. For more than 50 years, CEAP has mobilized resources, shared abundance, and nourished neighbors to help create a healthier, stronger, and more connected community.

This year, the need is especially clear. CEAP has seen a 106% increase in first-time visitors to our food shelf in 2026, meaning more neighbors are turning to CEAP for support for the very first time. As more families and individuals seek help putting nutritious food on the table, keeping our shelves stocked is more important than ever.

This Give to the Max Day, CEAP’s goal is to raise $85,000 to Stock the Shelves and ensure our neighbors can continue to access nutritious food and essential pantry staples when they need them most.
