CEAP (Community Emergency Assistance Programs) was founded in 1970 as a food shelf responding to the growing need for human services in Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. CEAP mobilizes resources, shares abundance and nourishes neighbors to create and celebrate a healthier, stronger and connected community.
Our three major goals for our community are to increase access, health, and joy for our neighbors. CEAP's Food Market has remained an integral part of our programming, and in the last 50 years we have expanded our services to include housing assistance, senior programs like Meals on Wheels, kid's programs like birthday bags, and seasonal services like Farm Fresh Fest and holiday programming.
When you give to CEAP, you're making an investment in the collective wellbeing of our community. Every dollar makes a difference in ensuring that all of our neighbors are nourished in mind, body, and spirit.
