Community Emergency Assistance Program, Inc.

A nonprofit organization

This summer, join CEAP in sharing our community’s abundance with our neighbors of all ages through Farm Fresh in the Fast Lane, CEAP Essentials: Kid’s Edition, and CEAP Essentials: Back to School Edition. Visit our blog to learn more and check out our Summer at CEAP Action Kit.

Summer is almost here, and CEAP has planned fun ways to continue nourishing our neighbors of all ages in mind, body, and spirit. Download the Summer at CEAP Action Kit here

First, we are excited to announce that this summer we will be hosting Farm Fresh in the Fast Lane, a safe, drive-thru version of CEAP’s beloved Farm Fresh Fest. Starting in July, we will be inviting our neighbors to CEAP’s drive-thru lane to receive a variety of fresh, seasonal produce – more details to come! You can support Farm Fresh by volunteering, donating to CEAP, or sponsoring the event as an organization - more details in the Action Kit. Farm Fresh is a celebration of the abundance of our community and we are so excited to see all of you!

CEAP is committed to helping the children of our community PlayStrong, GrowStrong, and LearnStrong, this summer and always. To ensure that kids are nourished without the support of free and reduced lunches at school, CEAP will be providing CEAP Essentials: Kid’s Edition kits filled with kids’ favorite foods. Your donation of $25 provides one CEAP Essentials: Kid’s Edition for a child in our community when their family comes to pick up their CEAP Essentials groceries. Other ways to engage include hosting a virtual drive, hosting a food drive, and volunteering to assemble kits!

We’ll finish the summer strong by providing CEAP Essentials: Back to School Edition, backpacks filled with all the school supplies that kids need for a successful school year. Your $25 donation provides one CEAP Essentials: Back to School Edition, which will be distributed on August 16. Help the kids of our community LearnStrong by hosting a virtual drive or a backpack and school supply drive, or by volunteering to assemble Back to School kits! Check out the Action Kit for more details.

We hope you’ll join us in sharing abundance this summer! Have any questions, or looking to get involved in other ways? Contact Jack, CEAP’s Community Engagement Manager, at 763-450-3664 or jack.elsnes@ceap.com.
