Caring for Cats is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit no-kill cat shelter in North St. Paul, Minnesota. We provide a safe, home-like environment where cats and kittens receive the care, patience, and second chances they deserve. More than 95% of our cats find homes each year, thanks to our dedicated volunteers and the generous people who make our work possible.

This GTMD, Help Our Cat-munity Give Twice the Care

Every cat's story is different. Some need medical treatment before they're ready for adoption. Some need time and patience to learn to trust people. Others need a safe place to land while they wait for the right home. At Caring for Cats, our volunteers and supporters come together to meet those needs, one cat at a time.

This November, our Angel Donor will match donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $15,000. Your gift can help provide twice the support for cats in our care. Make your donation by November 30 to help us unlock the full matching gift.

Care That Meets Each Cat's Needs

One of the cats who reminds us why this work matters is Bartholomew, a sweet, affectionate young cat whose severe nasal congestion and ear inflammation have required extensive testing and treatment. 

His journey is still unfolding, and he needs more care before he will be ready for adoption. This November, your gift helps support cats like Bartholomew, and our Angel Donor will match donations dollar-for-dollar, up to the $15,000 match.

Other cats need time to feel safe. Our volunteers offer patience, gentle encouragement, cozy beds, toys, and individualized attention. Through programs like Cat Tales, where children from the community read to our cats, we help make the shelter feel like home while each cat prepares for the next chapter of their life.

We believe every cat deserves the chance to be understood, cared for, and matched with a home that fits their personality and needs.

$75 covers one week of cleaning supplies.
