It is the mission of the Sea Turtle Conservancy to ensure the survival of sea turtles within the Wider Caribbean basin and Atlantic through research, education, training, advocacy and the protection of the natural habitats upon which they depend. Company Overview
Sea Turtle Conservancy (STC) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization based in Florida with offices and projects in several other locations. STC is the oldest and most accomplished sea turtle conservation organization in the world. Since its founding in 1959, STC's work has greatly improved the survival outlook for several species of sea turtles. Description
For more than 50 years, STC has been studying and protecting marine turtles and their habitats. STC’s research programs are providing pertinent biological information about sea turtles, its education programs are increasing awareness of the threats to sea turtle survival and its conservation programs are helping to recover sea turtle populations around the world.
