Inspired by these committed and passionate men and women who make a difference in their professions and to the people they serve, the Care Providers of Minnesota Foundation pursues a mission committed to the pursuit of excellence in long-term care and service delivery through the advancement of education, research, creativity and innovation. 

The Care Providers of Minnesota Foundation awards scholarships annually; in 2022, 43 inspiring long-term care employees were selected as scholarship recipients by the Care Providers of Minnesota Foundation. This year's class of Foundation Scholars will use the assistance to further their professional development within the long-term care setting including nursing, social work, and nursing home administration. The Scholars represent a broad cross-section of employees and care centers across Minnesota and were selected from more than 60 applicants. The $43,000 awarded this year brings the total dollar amount of scholarships given to over $500,000.

The Foundation partners with the International Institute of Minnesota’s medical career advancement program to support its clients in upgrading their jobs within the long-term care field.

In addition, the Foundation presents the Leading 4 Life Fellowship Program; entering its fifteenth year, the Fellowship builds on leadership strengths by engaging practicing professionals in a coordinated curriculum with an array of practical and experiential learning experiences.
