You are the reason that Cantus has been able to flourish and remain a hallmark of Minnesota choral singing.

The ensemble sings in a semicircle arc formation – but Cantus’ philosophy is that our audiences and supporters comprise the other half of that circle. Last year, Cantus released six all-new online programs that reached audiences across all 50 states and eighteen countries. The Star Tribune commented on how "the group remains remarkably consistent in its chemistry and expert harmonic interplay. And it's all the more admirable that this outstanding octet has chosen to not just comfort its audiences, but challenge them."

We’re well underway in our 2025-26 season with an exciting lineup of five concerts plus a thrilling transatlantic collaboration with The King's Singers here in Minnesota. Thanks to your support, we’ve also returned to classrooms with our High School Residency program with the choirs at Johnson Senior High School in Saint Paul  and appearing as guest clinicians at many other schools around the state and country. Our circle continues to broaden as your support has allowed Cantus to invest in high-quality online concerts that have reached audiences across 73 of Minnesota’s 87 counties, all 50 states, and 18 foreign countries. Reaffirming our commitment to access, Cantus will continue to offer these online concerts on a pay-what-you-can model starting at $5. Continuing from last year, single tickets for select in-person concerts will also be available on a pay-what-you-can basis from $5.  

With this momentum in mind, we ask you to consider joining our circle of support. Ticket sales cover only a portion of Cantus’ expenses and we continue to navigate a changing touring environment in the wake of the pandemic that formerly contributed upwards of a third of our operating budget. Meanwhile, Cantus has extended its commitment to accessibility this season, while remaining only one of two vocal ensembles of its kind in the United States to employ its singers as full-time professionals. With all this in mind, we need your help. Simply put, your support makes our work possible across the country in classrooms and concert halls.
