Can you think of a time when you felt authentic joy in nature? How long ago was that, and have you been back there since?
That small moment, that spark, is what thousands of young people experience at Camp Fire Minnesota each year. A spark of joy. A spark of belonging. A spark that reminds them they’re part of something bigger.
✨ How do we light this spark?
Through environmental STEM education, afterschool programs, and camps, youth are reconnecting with what matters most: each other, the land, and their communities. They build confidence, resilience, and hope. They try, they fail, they try again. They discover their voices and see that they matter.

Help Us Keep Sparking Belonging
At Camp Fire Minnesota, belonging isn’t just a feeling; it’s a foundation. It’s safety, power, and wholeness. It’s the ability to show up fully as yourself, be valued, and know you matter.
When young people find belonging at Camp Fire, they carry it forward. Watch our video to hear from a 2025 Counselor in Training, who, after feeling seen and supported by their counselors, is motivated to help other young people feel included and celebrated for who they are.
Let's spark belonging today and, in doing so, light the sparks of belonging tomorrow.
Be a Monthly Spark
Monthly gifts are one of the most powerful ways to support Camp Fire Minnesota. Your recurring donation provides reliable funding to remove barriers to STEM and outdoor education for all young people, making nature accessible year-round.
Our Impact
Learning and growing in the outdoors is one of the most human experiences there is. It connects us to each other, to ourselves, and to the world around us. Without time outside, young people miss out on vital opportunities for joy, healing, and belonging. At Camp Fire Minnesota, we believe that all young people deserve the chance to learn, explore, and experience adventure in nature. For over 100 years, we’ve provided a safe and welcoming place where every young person can be their authentic self while discovering the joys and confidence that come from learning and growing in the outdoors.
Please note that if you indicate your donation to be anonymous in the donation form, Camp Fire is not informed of your name.
