Our Impact

Learning and growing in the outdoors is one of the most human experiences there is. It connects us to each other, to ourselves, and to the world around us. Without time outside, young people miss out on vital opportunities for joy, healing, and belonging. At Camp Fire Minnesota, we believe that all young people deserve the chance to learn, explore, and experience adventure in nature. For over 100 years, we’ve provided a safe and welcoming place where every young person can be their authentic self while discovering the joys and confidence that come from learning and growing in the outdoors.

• 75% of youth in Environmental Education and Afterschool Explorers receive scholarships, expanding access to nature and Minnesota-standard STEM opportunities for all
• 90% of Camp Fire youth value nature, motivated to steward the environment
• 92% of Camp Fire youth feel a sense of belonging in the Camp Fire community
