223 campers are receiving scholarships this year!
With camp starting in June, now is the time to contribute to the Scholarship Fund to help a young person attend camp this summer.
Camp Fire Minnesota recently awarded an additional $14,000 in scholarship funding to young people on our waitlist.
We put young people first and focus on eliminating barriers. We have awarded 223 summer camp scholarships, equaling $122,000 of scholarship funding for our 2023 summer season; the most we've ever awarded! Help provide young people what they need most: time to connect with others, discover more about themselves, and explore the outdoors.
Please consider donating to the Scholarship Fund today.
You can sponsor a camper or contribute any amount. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your generosity helps put camp within a child’s reach. Thank you!
The benefits of nature-based programs include sparking creativity and critical thinking skills; reducing nature deficit disorder; increasing healthy lifestyles; and empowering youth to care for their local community and the planet. When youth connect with nature, they gain skills and are healthier, happier, and more empowered to care for the environment. At Camp Fire, we are encouraging more youth to get outside to explore the benefits of nature.
