Welcome to our GiveMN webpage!

We are the Parent Teacher Association of Bryn Mawr Community School (PreK-5th), but we are much more. We are parents and teachers and we’re also the staff, family members (aunties, uncles, grandparents, siblings) of students, alumni, neighbors, and community members invested in impacting the lives of North Minneapolis students. In short, the PTA is an essential part of the “community" of Bryn Mawr Community School. Thank you for being part of our community through your donation.

The Bryn Mawr PTA is committed to:

1. building a strong school community that enriches each child's learning experience and embraces the diversity of our school, families, and community
2. increasing engagement across families, teachers, and staff to build meaningful connections. Our monthly PTA meetings are an opportunity to hear from and connect with our Principal and build relationships with other families.
3. providing academic and enrichment support. We accomplish this through a variety of fundraisers and volunteer opportunities.

What does the PTA do with the money?

PTA funds are distributed around our 3 commitments list above: (1) building a strong school community, (2) increasing engagement, and (3) providing academic and enrichment support. We invite teachers and staff to apply for PTA funds throughout the school year. Examples of things we have funded include classroom supplies, field trips, guest speakers, and special school events.
