BOLD goes PBIS! Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies

BOLD is in the second year of PBIS, Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies.  Last year the staff was introduced to the positive behavior strategies that are being promoted throughout the district.  This year the students have been introduced to the positive behavior strategies implemented throughout the district.  Research has shown positive behavior in the schools has a direct effect on school climate and consequently student performance.   Efforts to promote positive behavior include but are not limited to rewards and consistent engagement .  One item that has been considered is a T-Shirt for every student and staff member in the district pre-K through 12 and all staff including members of the school board.  We anticipate a need of 900- 1000 T-Shirts of the appropriate sizes for everyone.  There is also a need for a variety of rewards for students who are caught in the act of doing something outwardly positive.  Your efforts to support the districts promotion of positive behaviors by everyone are greatly appreciated.
