Bluebirds and Blooms

At Bluebirds and Blooms, our ultimate goal is to share a moment of joy with those living with memory loss or long-term illness. We do this through the gift of repurposed flowers. Every day, millions of beautiful flowers are discarded from stores, events, weddings, and funerals. We repurpose these donated flowers into cheerful bedside bouquets that are delivered by caring volunteers for an unexpected moment of hope and encouragement.

We were thrilled to launch Connections in Bloom this year, a new program designed to deepen our impact by bringing hands-on flower arranging sessions directly to residents. These interactive sessions foster connection, creativity, and joy-offering residents a comforting and expressive experience that combats social isolation. Through the art of floral design, participants engage their senses, spark meaningful conversations, and create something truly beautiful. We'd love to be able to bring this program to more communities!
