North Metro Chapter 7 Supporting & Serving America's Sons and Daughters in the Military, Our Veterans, Our Communities & Each Other

We are the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., North Metro Minnesota Chapter 7. Since 1942, our mission has been to serve active-duty military, veterans, and families of fallen heroes.
 
 To date this year, 2025, our chapter has contributed over 4,200 volunteer hours through:
 • Preparing meals three times a month at the Fisher House with the MDVA 
 • Distributing reading glasses, travel pillows, and Girl Scout cookies at Stand Downs 
 • Sending cards year-round to veterans at the VA Medical Center 
 • Honoring Fallen Heroes and Gold Star Families at remembrance events 
 • Volunteering at the VA Medical Center, sponsoring BINGO, and supporting pop-up pantries 
 • Partnering with IGYSIX, 23rd Veteran, MACV, USO, Armed Forces Service Center, and the St. Cloud StandDown
 • Presenting Honor Cords to graduates and Mother’s Bags to military moms 
 • Decorating a Tree of Valor at Haven for Heroes 
 • Joining Suicide Awareness Walks and aiding BTYR with food deliveries 
 • Donating toys and school supplies to local VSOs 
 • Preparing care packages, hygiene kits, meal kits, and move-in kits for MACV 
 • Participating in Memorial Day ceremonies and sending packages to deployed troops
