North Metro Chapter 7 Supporting & Serving America's Sons and Daughters in the Military, Our Veterans, Our Communities & Each Other

We are the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., North Metro, Minnesota Chapter 7. We are mothers with

children currently serving in the Armed Forces or who have honorably served in the Armed Forces of the United

States.  Our mission is to support our military personnel and families, veterans and each other as our children

serve and protect our great country.

Our chapter has been very active over the years and we continue to support our military community by:

● Mailing care packages to our service members 

● Purchasing and handing out reading glasses for veterans in need at stand-downs around the State

● "Wreaths Across America" - placing wreaths at veterans' graves at Fort Snelling

● Providing volunteers at the Veterans Administration, Eagle's Healing Nest and Armed Forces Service

Center at the airport in addition to helping many other patriotic organizations such as the Combat

Veterans Motorcycle Association, 23rd Veteran, and Every Third Saturday, etc.

● Gift Card donations to MACV to assist Veterans in need

Your support is vital for us to continue our mission of supporting our active-duty troops and our veterans.

For many years we have sent Care Packages to our servicemen and women all around the world as the desire for

a bit of home was a treasured gift that we could provide. Our world has changed through the years and the need

for Care Packages at home for our veterans has increased. This year in addition to mailing our “We Care”

packages to those deployed service members, there is an increased need to provide move-In kits, gas and

grocery cards, and “We Care” Packages for Veterans in the metro area.
