Bloomington Girls Fastpitch Softball Association

A nonprofit organization

The Bloomington Fastpitch Association (BFA) is a non-profit, volunteer-run youth sports organization based in Bloomington, Minnesota, dedicated to giving girls ages 7–16 the chance to learn and compete in the sport of fastpitch softball. We provide both in-house and traveling team programs—with age-levels from In-House 7U through 16U—that focus first on teaching fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship and fun, and then build into more competitive play for advanced players. Bloomington Fastpitch Association+1

Our mission is to foster a safe, positive, inclusive environment where girls can develop athletic skills, leadership and confidence both on and off the field. We are part of the Big West League for summer travel teams and also play in Minnesota Softball fall leagues. Bloomington Fastpitch Association.

As a community-based organization, we rely on volunteers (coaches, board members, scorekeepers) and fund-raising to keep registration fees affordable and program quality high. Scholarship support is available for families needing financial assistance.

By supporting BFA, you’re not just investing in a softball season—you’re helping create experiences where young athletes learn life-skills like belonging, accountability and leadership while they swing the bat, make the play and grow together.
