Big Time Jazz Orchestra

The Big Time Jazz Orchestra calls Duluth, Minnesota home and is made up of the finest big band jazz musicians in the northland. BTJO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and has supported the community through the performance and education of jazz since 1990. The BTJO mission:

• Benefit charitable causes and music programs in Duluth/Superior and the surrounding area through the donation of services and concert proceeds
• Provide educational opportunities for youth through workshops and concert performances
• Perform new and original jazz compositions and arrangements, as well as standard big band repertoire from Jazz masters
• Promote and advocate big band jazz music through concert performances in the northland by premier regional musicians

A few of the organizations that have benefited from performances by the BTJO include the Boys & Girls Clubs, Community Action Duluth, CHUM, American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, the Duluth Bethel, Special Olympics Minnesota, The Salvation Army, Northwood Childrens Services and more!
