This Give to the Max Day, you have the opportunity to make a contribution meaningful to you that will go directly towards making deeply affordable housing possible in the Twin Cities metro.

Beacon is changing the landscape of home through the power of our collaborative of congregations and individuals that advocate to create new, affordable homes, impact housing policy, invest in residents through wrap-around supportive services, and champion transformative policy solutions to ensure all people have a home. Our collaboration includes congregations of many faith traditions, including churches, mosques, and synagogues working together to make affordable housing happen in our communities.

Our Vision: All people have a home

It is a simple but profound vision that has guided Beaconʼs steps for more than 20 years. This vision inspires us to take on the challenges others are hesitant to tackle. We use our voices and resources for the sake of justice and a better world. Sustained by our many faiths and shared values, we are telling a different story of what is possible when we place home at the center of healthy neighborhoods and communities. The Beacon collaborative’s commitment to creating homes for those with the lowest incomes is unique: we engage in the most complex housing development, focusing on households who make less than $35,000 a year and those experiencing homelessness. Together, we are dedicated to changing the landscape of home.
