Art Of This

The mission of Art of This is to build community around the contemporary arts through artist-led activities that celebrate collaboration and experimentation across disciplines. 

Founded in 2005 and incorporated in 2007, Art of This (AOT) is artist-led and intentionally small, membership based and project focused. Art of This’ programming history includes The One Nighter Exhibition Series, Open Summer Residencies, The Tuesday Series for Improvised Music. Since 2015, AOT has programmed installations, exhibitions, screenings and performances by emerging and established artists at Mirror Lab, a cooperative studio and project space in the Powderhorn neighborhood of South Minneapolis. 

AOT is proud to serve as fiscal sponsor for Drone Not Drones, the annual 28 hour contiguous drone to benefit Doctors Without Borders held at The Cedar Cultural Center.
