We have the potential to save lives and change how cancer is treated by removing the harmful side effects that often accompany traditional treatments today.  By using genetically altered Salmonella to deliver a cocktail of immune modulating proteins directly to a cancerous tumor, the immune system is stimulated to make cancer killing immune cells. This engineered salmonella carries proteins that block the cancer’s ability to suppress the immune system.
