Help Support LGBTQ Youth Experiencing Homelessness in the Twin Cities

In the greater Twin Cities region (urban and suburban), 13,300 youth experience homelessness each year and there are fewer than 120 shelter beds available for youth. Between 23 and 40% of these youth identify as LGBTQ. You can help. Donate to Arise Project on Give OUT Day (June 30, 2022) or anytime during June to help support the lives of LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness right here in our community.

Your gift will directly support an array of programs that Arise Project provides grants including:

  • Unique host home programming designed and led by LGBTQ youth at Avenues for Youth
  • The Bridge for Youth's Mobile Youth Outreach Center, developed and designed by youth, provides gender-affirming clothing, supplies, and more
  • Rapid Re-Housing programming specifically for LGBTQ youth at The Link
  • LGBTQ-specific case management at the no-barrier drop-in center at YouthLink

Please make a donation today and/or become a peer-to-peer fundraiser to encourage others in our community to get involved.
