You can help keep our community close to home by giving to our Dialysis Unit fund!
The AAHS Foundation began fundraising efforts to add a dialysis unit in 2014. Charitable givers like you have raised a total of $59,900! To start a dialysis unit $435,000 is required. As you can see we still have a long way to go and need your help!
A typical dialysis patient will receive three hour treatments three days a week. Opening a unit in Appleton would allow for a more flexible schedule and save patients a minimum of an hour in their vehicle. What’s an hour? Watching a child’s sporting event, going out to dinner, mowing the yard, watching your favorite tv program, yoga, etc! With dialysis treatments already taking up so much time an hour is a lot.
