Empowering young leaders in North Minneapolis through God's people

Antioch Ministries fresh vision to develop young leaders in North Minneapolis by providing a safe space that serves as a foundation for holistic growth.

While some don't attribute safety to North Minneapolis, we continue to believe that wherever God is moving is the safest place to be and He is actively moving in and around North Minneapolis youth, especially through the local church. This is why we are  committed to partner with North Minneapolis churches to develop youth in our programs every year, so that transformation can happen in the long-term for youth and families and our neighborhoods.

Our mission is to empower young leaders in North Minneapolis through the power of Jesus.  We believe this happens when we first provide an environment that has the trustworthiness of Jesus, a safe place where kids can truly believe Jesus's statement to His disciples to "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."  Matthew 19:14

We have developed this trust at 2 homes in North Minneapolis where kids attend weekly programs supported by caring mentors.  Youth eat a healthy, nutritious meal, learn about Jesus, play games, develop social skills, and experience holistic support and growth.

In addition, to our homes, we have shown our commitment to North Minneapolis youth by partnering with 2 North Minneapolis Churches on a new pilot project that will provide these safe places of true transformation.  Shiloh Temple International Ministries and Zion Baptist Church have joined Antioch Ministries to start the SHIELD Project.  The aim is to provide an invisible shield of support for North Minneapolis youth, powered by the Holy Spirit's presence in His people.  This project started in September 2019.  To find out more, click on THE SHIELD PROJECT page.

We know that this important work of making disciples of Jesus Christ is not meant to be done alone.  We are working with our youth, our neighbors, our local churches, and our local organizations to create the space for transformation.  Now, we need you!
