Anoka County Brotherhood Council (ACBC) has been a trusted community partner since 1971. Our mission is, "to provide emergency food, clothing, and resources to Anoka County residents and surrounding communities in need while maintaining the dignity of those we serve."

ACBC averages 2,100 household visits per month (7,500+ individuals), and this number continues to grow daily. We work hard to provide our participants with not only the support they need, but an environment welcoming and inclusive of all.

In Minnesota, 1 in 5 households is experiencing food insecurity.   In 2024, the food shelf market at ACBC provided more than 1,400,000 pounds of food for 23,106 household visits (77,889 individual visits) - and the need continues to rise with the reduction of SNAP benefits due to the government shutdown, increasing grocery prices, and much more.
