$6,000 Goal

We are excited to announce that ANEW BAM is now 30,000 Feet: a cultural youth empowerment program propelling Black youth to new heights.  We use arts and tech education to build a paradigm that nurtures trust, restoration of humanity, and community-oriented restoration of harm.

Our goal is to raise $6,000 to purchase technology for our Black Arts Center - the first space for Black youth in Saint Paul.

The Black Arts Center will create a space where Black history and culture is centered and celebrated, empowering Black youth to use art as a medium to create positive change in their communities.

We are on the front lines and know what our community needs. The Black Arts Center will have art and recording studios, modern classrooms, mentoring pods, galleries, and community gathering space – all designed to inspire and elevate Black youth.

COVID-19 and the killing of George Floyd has only exacerbated disparities faced by Black youth in Saint Paul. The Black Arts Center will allow 30,000 Feet to expand upon our culturally informed approach to addressing the achievement gap and historical trauma – doubling the number of youth we serve and helping Black youth thrive.
