Amethyst Recovery Solutions is a 501c3 nonprofit Recovery Community Organization based in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Founded by a close-knit group of four best friends, our organization is driven by a simple yet powerful mission: to cultivate a supportive ecosystem for individuals in recovery that prioritizes community involvement, human connection, and the integration of fun into the recovery process. At Amethyst, we believe that recovery is not just about abstaining from harmful behaviors; it's about building meaningful connections, finding joy in everyday life, and giving back to others.

Our journey began when the founders of Amethyst met during their early stages of recovery, or in some cases, even before they found recovery. Within this group of friends, a remarkable phenomenon emerged: an unusually high percentage of individuals remained committed to their recovery journey over time. This led us to wonder: What made our experience different? What elements contributed to our sustained recovery? With these questions in mind, Amethyst Recovery Solutions was born.

As an organization, we are dedicated to sharing the lessons we've learned and replicating the positive experiences that have shaped our own recovery journeys. However, we also recognize the diversity of pathways to recovery and the unique needs of each individual.
