The foundation raises money to support the hospital & clinic as well as the community.  Over the past several years, the foundation has supported many new patient care programs, equipment for patient care, and staff trainings.  It has also supported many community wellness projects.  This year we are looking to raise money during GiveBig to purchase furniture for the outdoor patio at the Behavioral Health Center on the West Campus.  This is an important space for healing for our behavioral health inpatients.  We are honored you will consider this opportunity to give, and we encourage you to see all of the other things we have supported in the last several years.

  • Professional telehealth mental health screenings for patients who present in the Emergency Department
  • Modern and standard equipment for the emergency department including new stretchers, supply carts, and an ultrasound machine
  • Remodel of the inpatient behavioral health space on the west campus
  • De Escalation training for staff
  • Behavioral health transport service for structured outpatient care
  • Specialize bariatric wheelchairs which provide patients extra support and safety
  • Education and therapeutic support for cancer patients to encourage healing and wellness
  • A paved community walking path along the Apple River for all to enjoy
  • A swing for special needs at one of the Amery Parks
  • $1000 high school scholarships - in partnership with Amery Hospital & Clinic-  for graduating seniors pursuing a career in health care
  • Make IT OK and Power Up- community health awareness programs for mental health and healthy eating and exercise
