Elementary STEM for Under-Served Student Populations!

America’s Urban Elementary STEM is a 501(c )(3) non-profit, private operating foundation based in Minnesota.  It is managed by a five-member board comprised of experienced educators, and marketing, legal and financial professionals.  Our mission is to provide no-cost hands-on STEM/STEAM enrichment programs to grades K to 8, especially amongst high achieveing:  low income students, students of color, students with disabilities, students who are sick and shut-in, and girls in science.  Programs are custom designed by a licensed K-8 science teacher and certified STEM instructor.

Dr. Tyronne E. Carter, Board Chair

Dr. Carter is a licensed K-12 principal, licensed K-8 science teacher, and certified STEM instructor in the state of Minnesota. He received his BS degree from Lincoln University, his MPA in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Penn State, and his EdS and EdD(ABD) degrees from the University of St. Thomas. His STEM certifications are from the University of Colorado and University of St. Thomas Engineering Schools. Prior to changing careers, he was a human resources professional, business owner and diversity program director.
