American Jewish World Service

Inspired by JudaismÕs commitment to justice, AJWS works to realize human rights and end poverty in the developing world.

For the past decade, AJWS has been standing in solidarity with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) communities in the developing world to help them fight for their dignity, their access to health services and their basic human rights.

 

We fund 51 grantees serving LGBTI communities across 19 countries throughout the developing world.
