For nearly 85 years, the American Craft Council has been a vital force in fostering the livelihoods of American craftspeople and building a nationwide audience for the handcrafted. We provide essential resources for artists, produce unique experiences that bring makers and appreciators together, convene and support our field, and serve as the premier nonprofit chronicler of American craft.

• Expand the craft stories and original online content accessible to all on our website

• Develop an inclusive, searchable craft events and opportunities board

• Launch a new membership program that opens doors to craft-centered experiences nationwide

• Host more virtual and in-person events, including a national conference and ACC Awards in fall 2026

• Provide over $100,000 in new grants to members of our Early Career Artists Program
