Alexandria Band Boosters Inc

Alexandria Band Boosters supporting students who choose to participate in the long tradition of AAHS Band Programs.

For over two and a half decades, the Alexandria Band program has been a prominent fixture in our community, across the state of Minnesota, and nationally. Hundreds of students have benefitted in numerous ways from participation in the group. Through the band, students gain valuable leadership skills, develop a great work ethic, have an opportunity to travel, refine their musicianship, and develop pride from performing in the group. Each year the band entertains thousands of spectators in the state through their performances. 

The Alexandria Band Boosters help make band accessible for Alexandria Area High School and Middle School students. Last year the boosters helped reduce the cost of Marching Band for students by $150 per student. They also helped send students to several performance opportunities including jazz festivals, All-State, honor band and solo-ensemble festivals. Along with performance opportunities, the Alexandria Band Boosters has sponsored a trip to the Youth in Music competition in the fall to give students the ability to observe other student performers.
