Getting Aging in Place ramped up

The  goals for Aitkin County Habitat for Humanity are to build in 2023 or 2024 in McGregor or a rural area of Aitkin County.

We also want to ramp up our Aging in Place program. With community partners, we want to work to do needed repairs, such as installing grab bars, widening areas for wheelchairs, making entrances more accessible, for elderly and disabled homeowners. 

We can also use donations of new lumber and building materials, appliances and wooden furniture.

Our next fundraiser is under consideration and will be announced as soon as we decide what will happen.
