American India Foundation

The mission of the American India Foundation (AIF) is to catalyze social and economic change in India.

Since our founding in 2001, the American India Foundation community has consisted of volunteers in our chapter networks located throughout the United States. Our volunteers work towards advocating and raising awareness and fundraising for poverty and gender empowerment issues. We are leading a coalition that incorporates both educational and technological innovations into a scalable and sustainable project design to build lasting networks of young professionals in the United States. The proposed project, entitled “Our Family, Our Neighborhood, Our World” (O3), seeks to build and harness linkages of a shared cultural identity to foster increased collaboration, cooperation, and understanding among young professionals and youth in the education sector.
