Aging Services for Communities

The mission of Aging Services for Communities (ASC) is to provide adult seniors, handicapped individuals, and their families professional services in and around our communities so that they are able to stay in their homes. 

We accomplish this with a volunteer driver program and a homemaker program.

ASC addresses the transportation issues in multiple counties for clients who are not able to get to medical, dental or mental health appointments due to health issues. We have 23 volunteer drivers who transport to many different clinics and hospitals each month. We serve an average of 126 clients with our volunteer transportation program each month, and we average 484 transports per month. 

The homemaker program provides professional cleaning, laundry, cooking, socialization, and errand-running for those who need extra help in their homes. We work closely with surrounding counties, getting referrals from the county workers.  

By donating to the operations of ASC, you will help our agency to serve more clients. There is a large demand for our services in the 11 counties that we serve.
