AFROCARE Services Inc is a minority community-based organization providing multicultural socio-therapeutic direct services, outreach, consultation, and advocacy to diverse populations. We thrive on fostering a healthy therapeutic environment that promotes acceptance, the integrity of the holistic person, and the belief that through personal healing, we regain, restore, rebuild, and cherish our lives. 

The pandemic, civil unrest in Minnesota, and the global economic instability increased food insecurity challenges for minority groups, especially the seniors and children of African descent. Even though Minnesota is home to robust food shelves, it is difficult to find African ethnic food items on the food shelves. 

During the Covid-19 African community conversations last December 2020, the seniors requested an African ethnic food pantry. The request led to the creation of the AfroCare Ethnic food pantry. One of our goals is to serve the seniors and children of African descent Africa ethnic food that promotes healthy physical, psychological, and emotional health. We appreciate the support in furthering our mission during these challenging times. 

 We provide consultancy support services to community mental-emotional-behavioral health and substance use providers and individuals challenged with basic needs.
