Advocates for Century Theater

In addition to actors singing in dancing in colorful costumes, we can’t forget about what happens behind the scenes!

The Century Panther Playhouse is hoping to secure one additional Clear-Com single ear headset ($300) and beltpack ($1000) for crew members to use during productions. In addition, the Playhouse could use a few good drills to help with set building and tear-down, as our current one is nearing its last spin. Three Black and Decker drill kits and two spare batteries ($300) would not only be a great addition to our tool box, they would speed up our set work in meaningful ways.

The mission of the Advocates for Century Theater is to enrich student participation in theater education and extracurricular activities at Century High School in Rochester by encouraging community engagement in theater performances and activities; organizing events; and providing additional funding in support of theater arts. We hope to see you at upcoming productions: the one-act version of Twelfth Night this winter and Almost, Maine this spring.
