Above The EDGE (hereinafter ATE) is a national nonprofit organization. ATE helps communities develop amazing, inclusive learning environ- ments to support an engaging academic journey for scholars, families and their communities.

We collaborate with visionary districts, forward thinking charters, independent, and non- traditional education systems.

ATE's process focus is on helping participants become authentic human beings as opposed to becoming professionals defined by social and organizational roles. ATE is linking the Twin Cities to greater MN to national exposure in STEAM with our STREAMSM programming (Solving, Thinking, Relationships, Entrepreneurship, Arts and Mathematics).

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

For over 15 years youth and young adults have been accelerating and applying the EDGE (Excel Dreams Goals Education) pedagogy to their everyday lives. ATE specializes in Youth and Young Adult leadership development that engages youth of various socioeconomic strata in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math education and careers by using sports and fitness as a vehicle to focus their talents and interests.

ATE is a proven and effective linchpin, preventing unhinged aspirations and veered entrance into the 21st century's workforce for presently marginalized groups of youth and young adults.

ATE's work intentionally has the ability to align with goals for those districts that participate in Achievement and Integration plan with the Minnesota Department of Education. All of our programs are customizable and scalable.

Above the EDGE inspires, educates and guides youth by engaging them in experiences that enhance their self- empowerment and provide them with vital support as they develop both deep purpose and a healthy passion for life.

Above the EDGE envisions a society where human dignity and human potential are maximized, where youth are inspired and elders are respected in an atmosphere of continuous learning and growth in all dimensions of personal and social human being.
