The 6th Woodrunners OSG is a local chapter of the Outdoor Service Guides (OSG) that's based in Roseville, Minnesota, previously known as Baden-Powell Service Association (BPSA-US) that was founded in 2006.
6th Woodrunners OSG, like other chapters of OSG, is a grassroots, non-religion, all-volunteer run organization with the mission of support scouting and guiding in an environment of mutual respect and corporations by celebrating diversity in all forms, creating a positive learning environment, within the context of democratic participation and social justice.

6th Woodrunners OSG and the Outdoor Service Guides is not affiliated with the Scouts BSA or the Girl Scouts.

We promote

  1.  an inclusive and positive learning environment for youth and adults, of all genders.
  2. we promote the teaching, learning and sharing of outdoor knowledge and skills, explore the outdoors and enjoy nature;
  3. we believe in bringing positive change in our community by performing meaningful services in a cleaner environment, assisting the vulnerable who are in need and cultivating an open-minded and compassionate younger generations.
  4. It is our duty in the scouting law traditions to create an inclusive and equitable, safe and welcoming venue for everybody, especially for residents of diverse backgrounds including residents of BIPOC, LGBTQ, children of neurodiversity and immigrants.

The name changed from BPSA-US to OSG in 2021 was our first of many actions as a result of the murder of late Mr. George Floyd and transforming OSG to an anti-racism organization.
