As a leading hunger-relief organization, and the second largest food bank in the country, Second Harvest Heartland provides 83% of the food distributed by more than 1,000 partner food shelves and hunger-relief programs in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. We also help families enroll in food assistance, provide prepared meals for people who need more than groceries, and advocate for the policies and programs that work to end hunger, like SNAP, school meals, and senior nutrition programs.   

For too many in Minnesota, this year has been challenging. 1 in 5 families are having trouble getting enough to eat. Grocery prices have risen to unsustainable levels, and federal SNAP cuts have left thousands of Minnesotans without a safety net.  At a time when Minnesota food shelves have seen a record number of visits the past four years in a row, your support right now is crucial. This Give to the Max Day, we need your help to reach our goal to fund 2 million meals for neighbors experiencing hunger.
