GiveMN, nonprofits, and schools across Minnesota in celebrating the 17th year of Give to the Max Day, the state’s largest giving holiday. Each year, millions of dollars are raised for thousands of organizations through the generosity of institutions and donors. This year, we’re activating the community further by partnering with breweries interested in engaging their patrons in some collective giving, in support of nonprofits that align with their mission and values.

By becoming a Pour it Forward partner, your brewery is committing to donating a percentage of your total sales during Give to the Max Day (November 20th, 2025) to an organization(s) of your choice on GiveMN.org. As hosts of the giving day, GiveMN will highlight your brewery as one of our official community engagers and encourage donors to enjoy your establishment to maximize their impact on the day. 

How You Can Participate: Breweries

1. Host an Event: Take part in Minnesota's giving holiday by hosting a Pour it Forward brewery event on November 20, 2025!
2. Support Local Causes: Donate a portion of your total sales to the nonprofit organization(s) of your choice. Invite the organization(s) to table at your event and encourage them to have GiveMN.org donation links available for patrons to make gifts directly at the event.
3. Amplify Donations: Consider offering a matching gift to your chosen organization(s) that they can use the match to amplify their GTMD campaign. 
4. Get the Word Out: We'll provide you with customizable graphics & promotional material to make it easy to share your event and track donations. Our team can also help you set up your own free fundraising environment on GiveMN.org where your patrons, employees, and community members can make gifts directly to your chosen organization(s) during your Pour it Forward event.

1. Reach out to a local brewery: Use our email template, which contains all the Pour it Forward information you need, or design your own outreach strategy to connect with local breweries and set up a Pour It Forward partnership. Download our email template here.
2. Get the Word Out: Use our customizable GTMD graphics and social templates to design your own Pour It Forward promotional materials. 
3. See the generosity pour in: Feel supported by your local brewery and community as donations pour in on GTMD!
