Thursday, November 18 is Give to the Max Day! For the second year, both Minnesota and North Dakota locations will be participating in this giving campaign taking place November 1-18. Choice Bank is committed to bringing all our employees together in a collective effort to better the places we live.

As an organization we have previously participated in Giving Hearts Day, a 24-hour fundraising event for charities in North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota, and will now show our support of Give to the Max Day, an 18-day fundraising event supporting Minnesota charities. Thousands of charities participate in the two events, and each employee can support the charities that mean the most to them. The bank will be matching up to $25,000 in 2021! Here’s how it will work:
Giving Hearts Day – Thursday, February 13 Thank you to everyone who supported Giving Hearts Day. Choice Bank made a total contribution of $4,715. Please watch for updates about what our involvement will look like in 2022!
Give to the Max Day – Thursday, November 18 – www.givemn.org North Dakota and Minnesota employees can make donations from Sunday, November 1, through Thursday, November 18, and the bank will match the first $30 donated per employee.
How to Show Your Support on Thursday, November 18
Additional Questions I work in North Dakota. Will the bank match a donation I make on Give to the Max Day? Yes! There are many organizations eligible for donations through the Give to the Max event. Pick one that supports a cause you are passionate about, and the bank will match the first $30 you donate.
Since the bank will match up to $60 in donations that I make, if I donate $60 or more during Giving Hearts Day or Give to the Max Day, can the total match be applied to that single donation? We want to spread our love and support around, so the bank will match the first $30 you donate during Giving Hearts Day and the first $30 you donate during Give to the Max Day. You must participate in both days to receive the full $60 in matching donations.
Will the bank’s matching dollars support the same organization my donation was made to? Yes! Give to the Max Day will ensure that the funds the bank contributes are distributed to the individual organizations our employees choose to support!
What if I donate to more than one organization? How will the Choice’s matching dollars be applied? Matching dollars from Choice will be applied dollar for dollar to the organizations, in the order in which they are added to your cart. When you visit your shopping cart, it will indicate specifically how the matching dollars will be applied. Here are some examples:
Example 1 Employee makes donations to three separate organizations: Donation 1 is for $10 Donation 2 is for $5 Donation 3 is for $25
Matching dollars will be applied as follows: Donation 1 - $10 will be matched Donation 2 - $5 will be matched Donation 3 - $15 will be matched
Example 2 Employee makes donations to 4 separate organizations: Donation 1 is for $5 Donation 2 is for $50 Donation 3 is for $25 Donation 4 is for $100
Matching dollars will be applied as follows: Donation 1 - $5 will be matched Donation 2 - $25 will be matched Donation 3 – no matching dollars Donation 4 – no matching dollars |
