Northern Voices is celebrating Better Hearing & Speech month (May) with our 14th annual Walk for Talk! Please support our HEAR-O's by donating and joining us on May 20 - it's our biggest get together/fundraiser of the year!

Who We Are:

Northern Voices is a nonprofit organization for children with hearing loss.  Established in 1999, we teach speech, language and auditory training to children with cochlear implants and hearing aids.  Our students are ordinary kids working extraordinarily hard to catch up to their hearing peers.  The goal of the organization is for every child to join their peers in neighborhood schools, with age appropriate speech, language and listening skills.  Spoken language skills provide real independence and self-confidence, allowing these children to participate fully in a hearing world.  You, the local community, corporate friends and foundations are helping us reach our goal. We are a 501c3 organization – tax ID: 41-1930941.

About the Event:

Walk for Talk is a family friendly event that helps raise community awareness and support for young children with hearing loss.  All proceeds directly benefit the children at Northern Voices and support our high quality programming.  Our goal is to raise $30,000 this year and we need your help to do it.
