We're beyond thrilled and humbled to see so many of you supporting our Raising the Bar for Education Challenge! So far, over 100 donors, from six different law firms, have donated more than $56,000, hundreds of school supplies and more than hundred hours of pro bono time for our low-income students. Thank you to the employees of Akerman, Winston & Strawn, Nixon Peabody, MoFo, Skadden and King Holmes - you have gone above and beyond and we have no words to express our gratitude to every single one of you!

Raising the Bar for Education is a month-long campaign to gather the vital donations of time, school supplies and monetary donations for some of our most vulnerable community members – low-income students served by Learning Rights Law Center!

Children who receive a meaningful education have a higher chance of achieving economic self-sufficiency later in life. Children with high school degrees earn 30% more than high school dropouts, and children with a college degree will earn three times as much as high school dropouts.

Learning Rights is devoted to the mission of seeking lasting and compelling solutions to our community’s greatest challenge – providing equal access to an appropriate education for low-income students who have been discriminated against and denied school access due to their disabilities, race, ethnicity, or because of their status in juvenile justice and foster care systems.
