Go Ape is supporting tree planting efforts through the Arbor Day Foundation to celebrate their 50th Anniversary and the 150th Anniversary of Arbor Day in a fun way - which Go Ape location can raise the most for the Arbor Day Foundation?
The Arbor Day Foundation is the largest nonprofit membership organization dedicated to planting trees, with more than 1 million members, supporters, and valued partners and a mission to inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. Their vision is to help others understand and use trees as a solution to many of the global issues we face today, including air quality, water quality, climate change, deforestation, poverty, and hunger.
As one of Go Ape's core values to "Be socially and environmentally responsible", we strive to preserve and maintain our natural environment while encouraging others to rediscover the local beauty all around. We take that commitment further by using our voice to educate and inspire stewardship throughout the Go Ape community. That's why this year, we're pushing a healthy competition between our sites - a win-win for the all of us (but an extra big WIN for the site that fundraises the most)!
