Update posted 2 years ago

Can you believe it- it finally feels like spring! Although this weekend we expect rain I sure am hoping for mild temps and blue skies on May 20th. Thank you to all who have donated, fundraised and supported this event. Please continue to share with others who can come enjoy the fun and support PPSM as we gather this year in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Daisy dash.

For the past ten years PPSM has hosted the Daisy Dash 5k, an annual fun run fundraiser. This has been the primary source of income to sustain PPSM over the years. In 2023, we have adjusted our focus to cultivate community among families and provide even more opportunities for connection, supporting those who are struggling, celebrating those who have survived, and remembering those who we miss so dearly.

PPSM is volunteer powered and entirely funded by supporters like you! All proceeds go directly to the organization to provide support, advocacy, awareness, and training about perinatal mental health in Minnesota. We are a volunteer-run organization and depend on the generosity of donors to achieve our goals towards support and advocating for parents, and educating professionals who work with new and expectant parents and families.

In 2023 funds raised will go toward:

  • Offering postpartum doula care services to MN families
  • Offering peer support services
  • Offering training scholarships
  • Attending community events to connect PPSM to MN families
  • Continuing to provide information and education
  • Connecting with area providers to offer evidence-based information about PMADs

Closing out the end of the fundraising season PPSM will be hosting the 10th annual Daisy Dash in Edina, MN at Rosland Park. This FREE event will bring together families, professionals and those passionate about perinatal mental health.
