CJMM 20 from 20

We are doing a 20 from 20 campaign for 2020! 

For a number of years our organization has worked to honor Elias Clayton, Elmer Jackson, and Isaac McGhie.  Many of our community members have dedicated their efforts and energy to keeping their memory alive by teaching the history of the lynchings.  These lynchings happened almost 100 years ago. So, as we move into the year 2020, we must work to continue to move our community forward. In 2020 we will have a number of events and initiatives dedicated to learning and teaching this history. These events and initiatives will also work to help educate and transform our community so that we can work towards healing and justice. But in order to do that we need participation and buy-in from every member of this community and beyond. But what we need most right now is to raise funds and gather resources to ensure that we can engage as many people as possible. So this fall we ask that you help us raise funds by participating in our campaign.

This campaign is pretty straightforward. Everyone that chooses to participate is tasked with getting 20 friends, family members, co-workers, or neighbors to donate $20. To participate in the fundraising, click "JOIN THIS EVENT" and create a fundraising page. Fundraising instructions found here.
