COOKING UP SUPPORT FOR LITERACY

with Chef Bruce Singer and Sous-Chef Teri McLean

A virtual cooking event in support of the programs and services of Literacy Minnesota!

When: Wednesday, December 2, 2020, 5 - 6 pm CST

Where:  Virtual event hosted live on Zoom from the MidCity Kitchen.  (Zoom link, ingredients list and recipes will be sent after registration.  Please register below by clicking the blue "Donate" button at the bottom of the screen).

My name is Bruce Singer and I am a longtime member of the Society of Amateur Chefs, a Twin Cities cooking club . I invite you and your friends to join me and my cooking team for an hour of virtual cooking instruction and lively conversation as we prepare a soul-satisfying Mexican meal. The event is a benefit for Literacy Minnesota, a local nonprofit I have been involved with as a board member since 2016 and volunteer English tutor since 2014.

My Goal: Share my passion for cooking and good food, and raise $5,000 for Literacy Minnesota's programs and services!

Pre-registration with tax-deductible donation is required and can be done by clicking the blue "Donate" button, or by emailing Sarah, Literacy Minnesota Gift Officer, at scaflisch@literacymn.org.
