Made in the Shade: Going Virtual in 2020

Traditionally, Made in the Shade is a walk, run and roll fundraising event to support people with disabilities in our community. To ensure the safety of our program participants, staff, families, friends and sponsors, this fundraising event is going virtual this year! While we will not be holding a face-to-face event, there will be many ways to get involved, including fundraising to help PAI stay financially strong despite the financial pressure caused by the pandemic. PAI is collaborating with 4 other Twin Cities nonprofits supporting individuals with disabilities to better reach individuals with disabilities that need vital support.

PAI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing employment support and life enrichment programming for adults with developmental disabilities. By making connections between people, community, and work, PAI enriches lives and helps individuals reach their full potential. Four program locations staffed with compassionate, caring, professional staff offer person-centered services to more than 250 adults with developmental disabilities.

PAI's mission is to engage individuals in meaningful participation in and connection with the community.
