Rainah Ward

Business Development Associate | she/her/hers

Rainah is committed to expanding the reach of GiveMN through scalable practices and the advancement of our relationships with local businesses to maximize the positive impact we can have on our community.

Having grown up in southern Minnesota, Rainah moved around the country before settling back home for the long haul. After meeting and working with dozens of startup founders through BetaMN for Twin Cities Startup Week, she grew into various operational roles. This previous experience with small businesses and entrepreneurs around the United States has powered her enthusiasm for aiding their development and growth. She is excited to help GiveMN grow sustainably to boost our impact and support of Minnesota nonprofits and schools.

Rainah graduated from Macalester College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a focus in environmental studies. After living and working remotely in a converted camper van with her dog Wilbur for more than a year, she relocated to St. Paul to continue working more closely with the communities in which she is invested. In her free time, Rainah enjoys road trips, reading books of all genres, and checking out local breweries with friends.
