Maddie shapes GiveMN’s marketing to help nonprofits across Minnesota reach the donors and resources they need to thrive.
Maddie loves helping nonprofits and donors across Minnesota find each other through thoughtful, heartfelt storytelling. As the person behind GiveMN’s brand, campaigns, and communications, she shapes everything from email and social strategy to the messaging that powers Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s largest annual giving event. Maddie cares deeply about meeting nonprofits and donors right where they are—speaking to each in their own language and inspiring generosity along the way. She joined GiveMN in 2025, bringing a rich and varied background in marketing and communications that spans advertising, public affairs, politics, sports and fitness, college athletics, and small business.
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, and a lifelong Vikings fan, Maddie moved to Minnesota in 2008 to attend Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she earned her BS in mass media—with an emphasis in public relations and social media—and gender and women’s studies. She went on to complete a master’s in organizational leadership at St. Catherine University, and is now pursuing a doctorate in education at the University of St. Thomas, where her research explores shared language as a path to inclusive access for all students in higher education. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys reading, playing golf, and cheering on the Vikings. She lives in Shoreview, Minnesota, with her husband, Kyle, their two children, Hayes and Cooper, and their two dogs, Leo and Birdie. Maddie is currently on maternity leave and will return to the team this fall—just in time for GTMD!
